Hetal C. Patel, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
"My approach when treating my patients is to help you relieve your pain and to educate you on how to avoid the pain in the future. By removing misalignment, there is less nerve interference and the body is able to heal itself. When your body's structure is good, your function will be good.
Chiropractic care has helped my dad and uncle in relieving their back pain and that has been my main source of inspiration in becoming a doctor of chiropractic medicine.
I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida and graduated in 2008. Prior to attending Palmer College, I acquired a bachelor's degree in food science and human nutrition at the University of Florida. I completed my fellowship in acupuncture at the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. I also pursued extra studies around the country in manipulation under anesthesia (MUA), pain management, Cox flexion/distraction, McKenzie part 1, and Graston® techniques.
I specialize in treating patients with neck pain, back pain, headaches, posture and structure, or if you just want to improve your overall health. I can help you achieve your wellness goals. I offer chiropractic, acupuncture, spinal decompression therapy, and physical therapy, as well as treatment for auto accidents and workers' comp injuries. I use advanced techniques in physical and manual therapies for treating numerous types of pain. Treatments for pain include acupuncture, hot/cold therapy, traction, ultrasound, trigger point therapy, muscle stimulation, therapeutic massage, TENS, and stretching and strengthening exercises."
